My name is Lauren Cartmell and I compete for Colorado Gymnastics Institute and just finished my first year as a Level 10. I will be entering my senior year at Cherokee Trail High School in Aurora, Colorado, maintaining a 4.3 GPA and graduating in May of 2012. I started my gymnastics career when I was 18 months old and began competing at the age of six. My love of the sport has carried me through years of state, regional, western nationals, and NIT championships. One of my life-long dreams as a young gymnast was to compete at the collegiate level. Furthermore, a gymnastics scholarship remains one of my most predominant goals today as I continue with extensive training to achieve that dream. |
